Junior Data Ops Engineer

In this position, you will gain expertise in Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, monitoring and visualization tools and operability of productive machine learning projects. What you will do

  • Monitor big data and advanced analytics use-cases that are running in a productive cloud environment, including incident management
  • Enhance and maintain a proactive ETL pipeline monitoring framework
  • Produce, maintain and optimize code based on clear specifications
  • Integrate and continuously improve specific framework components
  • Coordinate the operational workstreams with the cloud infrastructure service provider
  • Develop ETL data pipelines and data connectors
  • Data quality check implementations and deliveries
  • Working closely with Data Engineers and Scientists within a data-dedicated Team

What you bring & who you are

  • University degree in computer, engineering or similar
  • Knowledge in maintaining and monitoring productive applications
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python
  • Familiar with Cloud Frameworks is a plus
  • Experience in SQL database and data management
  • Good level of English
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills

About the team

This is a great opportunity to become part of Axpo's Advanced Analytics Team in Madrid, which is an integral part of the company wide Data Science practice. You will have the chance to work on interna-tional advanced analytical projects learning cutting-edge technologies.
