What you will do

  • You are going to complete and implement Axpo's Data Strategy that helps the group to become an agile player in the digitalization of all its assets
  • Deliver the data platform and data solutions connecting our business areas together.
  • Facilitate development of data standards and best-practice processes
  • Based on group-wide engagement, help establish priorities for the ongoing development of the Axpo's data platform, including tools, workflows, processes, training and documentation
  • You will establish strong working relationships with senior leaders in business units with Data responsibilities
  • Develop KPIs to measure the success of the data strategy in helping improve data-driven outcomes and overall business goals

What you bring & who you are

  • Advanced Studies in the field of engineering, exact sciences, or economics
  • At least 10 years experience working with digital technologies, with 5+ data-driven products
  • You have a profound knowledge of modern software and data technologies, architectures, and processes used to build leading-edge consumer and/or business applications
  • Methodological knowledge on how to structure projects and organizations to deliver great products
  • You are characterized by a pragmatic and efficient mindset
  • Fluency in English is a must, fluency in German is desired, Good knowledge of French and Spanish is a plus

About the team

Your position will be part of our Technology Management department at Axpo. The team consists of 7 employees around our Chief Technology Officer. The team was established recently and wants to grow further. Our team thinks and works in an interdisciplinary way and are closely networked nationally and internationally. We offer you a dynamic, international, team-oriented environment in which you can actively contribute your strengths and thus contribute to Axpo's success.
