Key Account Manager

  • Build and maintain the relationship with our key customers in Poland (renewables in the area of power offtake and industrial counterparties from various sectors of the economy in the area of power and gas supply)
  • Pursue additional business with current and new customers
  • Drive various business, IT and Marketing related initiatives, which will help to maintain a 100% client retention rate
  • Manage daily interaction with our customers
  • Coordinate execution of the contracts
  • Ensure that Axpo's inquiries are handled diligently and in time by our counterparties
  • Support the Origination Team during a deal lifecycle with data and analysis


  • Bachelor's degree in economy, business administration and/or management
  • Ability to understand commodity markets and structured products
  • Understanding of the local gas and power markets, specifically in the area of offtake and supply, is an advantage
  • Experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with the assigned customer portfolio
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple customers
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with Axpo's key internal functions such as, risk, trading, structured products, origination, scheduling, credit, accounting and legal
  • Strong presentation skills desired
  • Native Polish and excellent English skills
